In Morris, Reid Carruthers of Valour Road (with Jason Gunnlaugson, Derek Samagalski, and Tyler Forrest) won the ENNS BROTHERS CLASSIC, tripping Ian Beavis of Morden 10-3 in the final last night (Sunday, Dec.4th).
Carruthers earned $3,500, Beavis $2,000, and losing semi-finalists Rich Muntain of St. Vital and Peter Pruden of Petersfield $1,200 apiece. Wayne Ewasko of Selkirk won the Consolation event and $500 (16 teams-four qualifiers).
