Sour Grapes Mr. Jefferson. Sour Grapes. The idiot screwed himself out of the championship. It was not Orest Meleschuk's responsibility to bail him out from his stupidity. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory is Labonte's legacy. He won nothing, he lost end of story.

You Canadians make me sick! Bob Labonte won the curling world championship in 1972. His rock was closer and no measurement was needed. Here's three great curling moments: 1974 Bud Sommerville U.S.A wins the Silver Broom World Championship of Curling! 1976 Bruce Roberts U.S.A. wins the Silver Broom! 1978 Bob Nichols U.S.A. wins the Silver Broom! I repeat, Bob Labonte won the 1972 Silver Broom and the decision to not award him the Silver Broom remains one of the unfairest boneheaded decisions I can remember in the history of sports! ! !
