REGINA — A trio of former Brier champions is atop the field heading into Monday’s action here at the 2006 Tim Hortons Brier.
Manitoba’s Jeff Stoughton defeated Newfoundland’s Ken Peddigrew 6-4 Sunday night, while Ontario’s Glenn Howard defeated Saskatchewan’s Pat Simmons 10-5 to improve both teams to 3-0 and put them in a three-way tie for first with Alberta’s Kevin Martin.
