Quotations

“The sacrifice that he made this year and over the last number of months, and the way he handled it, was special. We wouldn’t be here without him.”
- Brad Gushue on the selflessness of Adam, who gave up his spot in the Canadian curling trials to veteran Russ Howard

Noteworthy

* Adam threw four stones in the fourth draw of the 2005 Canadian curling trials after Russ Howard took himself out of a 10-4 blowout win over Mark Dacey. Adam made the most of his limited opportunity, curling a perfect 100 per cent.
